Pocket Watch

When I first saw the watch I was surprised at the size. It is slightly, but noticeably, smaller than a standard pocket watch. However it feels quite solid and hefty, has stood up well to daily use and the mechanical movement is mesmerizing.

The packaging is nothing special, but I know the person I gave the watch to has thoroughly enjoyed showing it off. In the end, even at retail the watch is a good deal for its solid level of quality.

I don't wear a wrist watch now that I'm retired, but, I do need to keep up with the time. I thought of a pocket watch, but that's just something else to have to keep up with. The S&W Carabineer Watch was the perfect choice. I have all my keys hooked to it so it stays in my pocket all the time. It takes a lot of abuse but seems to keep perfect time and the clock face hasn't been scratched or marred. It fit my need perfectly and the price was very reasonable.

I bought this for my mother as a birthday gift. She liked it so much she bought 3 more to give to her friends for Christmas gifts. She uses it clipped on to her handbag strap so time is easily accessible.
