Wayan Rendah captivates the true beauty of an aging couple in an affectionate embrace. In Bali, magelut is the word used for an embrace. The couple wears traditional Balinese costumes as they hold each other romantically, and a smile radiates from each of their faces. It is rare for a couple in Bali to be seen in this type of pose and is said to be adopted from western culture. Rendah creates this piece in suar wood.
