Made in London in 1892 of sterling silver, this candlestick.It is heart shaped and has a lot of openwork, scrolls and bows.This type of old, portable candlestick has a finger ring along the lip so that youcan transport it safely from room to room.Forefinger goes through the ring and the lip rests on the middle finger.Stamped on the bottom and again in the wax drip tray with symbols representing "Sterling London 1892" and "W.C." which could be William Comyns.Candlestick weighs 93.8 grams.It measures 4" wide and 4 3/4" long.Very pretty antique sterling.

This beautiful solid oak Amish Mission style coffee table has a unique white weathered finish, except for the table top. About the Artist:
Beth (Vincent) Stephens was
born in Connecticut
and it was there that some of her most cherished and vivid memories were
born. They were memories of playing
hopscotch, swimming, and playing with her best friend Peggy Dowd. She also enjoyed days crafting at Sunday
school and making crafts at the annual Christmas craft group, creating anything
from bottle dolls to pine cone ornaments to painting pretty little flowers. She accredits much of her imaginative and
creative works to her early years of life.
She and her family moved to Cape
Cod, Massachusetts
during her preteen years. There she
continued with craft classes and took private art lessons for many years. Beth as accomplished many goals since those
early days of childhood. She was
employed with Verizon Telephone for ten years.
She has taken night classes in business and art during her
employment. She chose to leave Verizon
to pursue a full-time career in art. She
has earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration as well as a
Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Illustration.
Beth works with several manufacturers and has several hundred licensed
products featuring her work. Beth and
her family now reside in Dover-Foxcroft
Maine where she works from her home
studio illustrating and designing art. With
the help of her husband Nelson, she accomplished these goals while raising and
caring for their two children, Hunter Jake, and Clara Rose.
